CHAR KINDER has helped her clients make real changes and differences in their lives.  She loves to help people learn more about themselves, regain their balance, and rediscover their dreams.  For more than ten years, she has been working with employees at all levels in organizations and with individuals from all walks of life.

With more than 25 years of coaching, training, and facilitation experience in the business and corporate world, Char has worked with executives, managers, and front-line employees to help them identify potential barriers to success and develop strategies to overcome them.

Her business experience includes her work within Westinghouse Electric Corporation in the Audit, Training and Development, and Executive Resources organizations.  She was also a senior consultant with Implementation Management Associates and an independent management consultant for eight years.  Her clients spanned the energy, engineering, financial, manufacturing, pharmaceutical, nursing, technology, and retail industries.

Char brings compassion, creativity, optimism, humor, and a wealth of business and life experience to her coaching practice.  Her strong corporate background provides insight into the work world her clients enter each day - its demands, fast pace, and ongoing competitive challenges.  She brings out the best in her clients, coaching them to regain their sense of balance, manage daily stresses, and sharpen their purpose.

Char believes that everyone has the resources and answers within.  As supporter, challenger, and listener, she guides clients toward discovering their unique set of skills and abilities, then teaches them how to apply those in work and in life.

Training - the word evokes an image of someone standing up in front of a room droning on toward a sea of glazed eyes.  Not with Char!  Everyone gets involved in her programs.

Training is another path to discovery, but only when it is practical, usable, and participatory.  Char creates a learning environment that allows people to try new skills and concepts.  With that approach in mind, she has developed a program of training sessions in business, leadership, and life skills for her clients to use.  She will also create customized leadership and training programs, including train-the-trainer sessions so anyone can train employees on their own.

Since 1991, Char has successfully designed, developed, and delivered hundreds of courses in four countries, using her ability to transform client needs into effective and practical training.

Char loves when everything comes together and produces outcomes that benefit the group!  As a professional facilitator, she works the simple definition of that term: making things less difficult and helping to advance an action or process.

She has facilitated executive retreats, team building sessions, process redesigns, creative problem-solving, story-boarding, and work planning sessions.  She’s adapted various exercises, techniques, and behaviors to help her work successfully with various groups and issues.

Char works with her clients to clarify objectives and goals, design the meeting or intervention, and then facilitate toward results.  The measure of her success is that participants have made progress and felt a part of that process. In addition, she can teach key facilitation skills to enable clients to get better results and experience more productive meetings within their organization.
